COACHES VS. KIDS CHARITY FUND RAISER - BIG SUCCESS!
===================================================================================
The 4th Annual Coaches vs. Kids Charity Fund Raiser went off without a hitch, and brought in roughly $2000 - half of which went to the Animal Rescue League, and the other half directly to FGSA.  I can't say enough about the tremendously wonderful job that was done by Mary Templin.  Thank you so much, Mary, for all that you did to make it happen!

FGSA in HOMECOMING PARADE - RAINED OUT
===================================================================================
FGSA was supposed to march in the Homecoming Parade tonight but, as you know, we were rained out for the 2nd year in a row.  This was a huge disappointed as there were a number of people who had put a lot of effort into this for FGSA.  As I've reminded everyone, there is still hope for a parade.  Fleetwood has their Santa Parade every August.  We'll save all of our goodies for December hope for better weather!

WINTER OPEN GYMS
===================================================================================
For the 2nd year in a row, FGSA has secured gym time on Friday evenings at the Boro Hall.  (We actually wanted a different day of the week but Fridays were all that was available.)  We'll be requesting our usual time slots in the Middle School gyms as well for Saturday mornings.  As we did last year, we'll mix up the times that each age group will have their practices so sometimes it will be Friday night and other times it will be Saturday morning.  That way if there are girls who have other commitments on one day or the other, they don't miss every open gym.

Last year we started our Open Gym practices the first weekend in December, and in hind-site that seemed a little bit too early.  We'll be returning to our previous Winter Gym schedule which has us starting the first weekend in January.

In preparation for the Summer of 2017 program to include an 18U division, our open gyms will be open to all girls playing in high school or planning to play 18U in the summer.  This will supplement your practices with the high school team in the event that you just can't get enough softball.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
===================================================================================

Studies show that while people regret lots of things - inaction regrets outnumber those of action by nearly two to one. So the question is - what things aren't you doing, that you might later regret?!  Start doing them!
