12U/15U DODGEBALL & FUN NIGHT = FRI 2/05

============================================================
There are no official "Open Gyms" this weekend.  However, on Fri 2/05, from 6pm to 8pm, at the Borough gym, the 12U and 15U girls are invited for a change-of-pace night of fun and mayhem.  We will play Dodgeball, we may play wiffleball, who knows?!

We will have the Registration table set up in case anyone would like to hand in paperwork, payment or pick up calendars.

OK, procrastinators... For those of you who still haven't gotten your registration in, please let me know if it is coming so we can get a head-count at each level.  If your daughter still hasn't made up her mind, that is OK. Let us know at any time.  We NEVER turn anyone away, even if it was right before the first game of the season.  However, I do need a *rough* head-count, and we also need to get a rough idea of how many more shirts, pants and socks we need to order for the season.

FGSA DONATES HELMETS & OLD BATS TO THE CITY OF READING

Jon Chwatek took on the task of cleaning out our shed.  (Thank you, Jon!)    We knew there was a lot of old stuff that had accumulated over many years or even decades.  But, WOW, we had no idea we had that many helmets stuffed into that back storage area.  There were also a couple dozen VERY old bats that are certainly not legal anymore, as well as some very old catchers gear.  It seemed a shame for it to go to waste or be thrown out, so I offered it to the folks to run the Softball programs for the City of Reading.  (They are some of the nicest people I've met through softball, by the way.)  They were thrilled and very excited to take what we were offering.

Big shout out to Nichole Henn for volunteering to take care of the Lotto calendar winners again this year.  And also to Matt Davenport for agreeing to sort through, organize and replenish all of our First Aid kits to be ready for the spring season.
