Company and Family Sponsorships:

We are looking for families or companies to sponsor the game – the cost is $100.00.  We will hang their no bigger than 3X4 sign (they will need to provide one due to lack of timing) on the fence at the fire company.  Signs can be ordered at www.vistaprint.com for around $30.00.

In addition, any sponsor of $100.00 or more will also be acknowledged at the softball game and be included on flyers/programs given out the day of the game.

If you know of organization/company or you would like to sponsor the event on behalf of a family member, please contact Earl Hemmig at earlbluedevil@frontiernet.net , phone number is 610-781-1012.

Baked Goods Sale:

We are also looking to sell baked goods at the event.  If you would like to donate an item for the baked goods, please contact Monica Hemmig at purpleunic10062@frontiernet.net or call 484-638-2901.  Please note due to the severe food allergies to peanuts, we kindly ask that if there are peanuts in the baked good a post-it be attached stating “peanuts”  to the donation.

Basket Chinese Auction:

We are looking for companies/consultants or vendors who would like to donate a basket or an item for a Chinese Auction.   We will be selling tickets for the baskets throughout the event and announce the winners at the beginning of the last inning.  If you are interested in please contact Julianne Kessler at Julesk913@aol.com and the house phone 610-944-6148

Kids Getting Involved – Rainbow Loom Bracelet Sale:

We would love all the kids to participate in some way or some fashion in the fundraising and we know that the rainbow loom bracelets have been a huge hit!   If your daughter/son would like to make a bracelet to sell for $2.00 at the event, please see below for the colors of bracelets we would like to sell at the event.  We ask that any child that would like to donate bracelets donate no more than 3 per child.  Please bring the bracelets with the child to the game.

·         Girls on the 8 U Teams– If you choose, please make bracelets made of Pink and White for Breast Cancer

·         Girls on the 10 U Teams – If you choose, please make bracelets make of Purple and Pink.  Purple is the universal color for all cancers and pink for breast cancer

·         Girls on the 12 U and 14 U Teams – If you choose, please make bracelets of Black and Red for Fleetwood

Volunteering:  10U, 12U, 14U and Parents

During the event we would like to use some of the girls to help parents volunteer at the tables:

We are looking for at least 10 kids every inning.  Chances are they will be there anyway – let’s put them to work J

·         2 for the baked goods table

·         2 for helping with donations/breast cancer table

·         4 for the children’s events

·         2 for the “press box.”   The kids who are willing to help with the other items will get the chance to do the press box.

Once the line-up is figured out, the child will find out what inning she will be able to help and what time to report to the table/volunteer spot.  Hopefully we have enough help to have each kid only help one inning plus an inning in the press box – but please note that they may need to help more than one inning.

Parents – this is a HUGE event and we are in need of volunteers at various times throughout the day.  The more we can get to help, the better.  Please understand that the help you give will allow other parents to see the game or at least watch their own child play in their inning.

If you or your child is willing to help, please contact Gretchen Manmiller at 610-507-5449 (text is fine) or email gnkmanmiller@verizon.net (please place in subject line “Willing to Help”)
